The Massachusetts Camera Naturalists is an informal organization founded in 1959, dedicated to the appreciation of nature and the natural environment.  Through its members, it seeks to promote:

  • A closer fellowship among serious nature photographers and naturalists,
  • A greater appreciation of nature through the exchange of ideas and techniques for nature photography and observation; and
  • The development and education of the general public in nature photography, the appreciation of nature, and the conservation ethic.

2015 Meeting Schedule

  • March 28, 2015 at GLPA – Art Vaughn will have a short presentation on close-up macro photography with some equipment, how to construct a macro flash bracket and set-ups.
  • June 6, 2016 at Arcadia Wildlife Sanctuary in East Hampton, MA hosted by Gail and Joe Platz
  • November 7, 2015 – Annual Meeting at Methodist Church in Cochituate, MA hosted by Henry and Elizabeth Weisenburger.
