School students are looking for beautiful photos for a book about kronach

Who knows kronach’s most beautiful nooks and crannies?? Who has the best photo of one of the many festivals and events?? Where are the most unusual perspectives and where the most unusual insights?? In order to find this out, the members of the P-seminar are initiating a "picture book" at the frankenwald high school a rough photo contest. The selected pictures will be published in the new illustrated book "kronach in bildern" published, which will be available from 20. November is to go on sale.

In addition to many beautiful pictures, the approximately 130-page book in DIN A4 format will also contain, among other things, a city map and interesting facts and figures about kronach. Views are shown in comparison to the past and a small dialect guide should give an insight into the "kronicherisch" give. Also planned is a presentation of the major local companies.

As the title makes clear, however, the focus is to be on gentle images. We are looking for photos of different topics. In doing so, you also want to show things that don’t necessarily catch your eye when you’re walking through town.

The members of the P-seminar have now received support from auben – in the person of henrik kuhnlein – to ensure the best possible professional design of the illustrated book, both visually and in terms of content. The former student of frankenwald high school, a graduate of the class of 2016, is studying for a bachelor’s degree in media design at the munchberg campus of the hof university of applied sciences. Thankfully, he now paid a visit to his former school to give the seminarists many helpful design and creative tips for the structure and content of the book and, in particular, for the optimal presentation of the pictures in a workshop.

But of course, this first requires some really great shots. So far – at "half-time of the photo competition – the schoolchildren have already received a number of interesting pictures, although there is still some room for improvement. "Especially now, with the warm spring weather, there are many beautiful motifs", seminar leader matthias simon waves the fence post coolly.

We would be particularly pleased to see unusual motifs with interesting, perhaps even "strange" themes appearing details. We are also looking for pictures of cronach’s districts and of festivals and celebrations throughout the year – for example, "crana historica", the wine festival, city festival, christmas market and of course the kronach free push. For "kronach leuchtet" one has already very beautiful recordings available. We still welcome photos of kronach associations in action, of the town’s history and of rosenberg fortress, aerial and panorama photos, long shots, photos with lots of "action" or rather quiet motifs – in short: there are no limits to the imagination and creativity to put kronach in the limelight in a befitting way.

Each photographer whose picture is printed will receive a copy of the new photo book. The five "best pictures will be awarded with a real kronach prize: tickets for the rosenberg-festival and a "show-dinner in the "bastion marie, a kronach-card worth 100 euro, a season ticket for the "crana mare" as well as guardian care packages to celebrate on the hoiese.
